YouTube videos on our website

YouTube videos are integrated into this website. YouTube is an Internet video portal that allows video publishers to post video clips free of charge and other users to view, rate and comment on them, also free of charge.

The operating company of YouTube is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. YouTube, LLC is a subsidiary of Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA.

YouTube allows the publication of all types of videos, which is why complete film and television programs as well as music videos, trailers or videos made by users themselves can be accessed via the Internet portal.

Each time one of the individual pages of this website is accessed on which a YouTube component (YouTube video) has been integrated, the Internet browser on the IT system of the data subject is automatically prompted by the respective YouTube component to download a representation of the corresponding YouTube video from YouTube. Further information about YouTube can be found at https://www.youtube.com/yt/about/de/. During the course of this technical procedure, YouTube and Google gain knowledge of what specific sub-page of our website was visited.

If the data subject is logged in to YouTube at the same time, YouTube recognizes which specific subpage of our website the data subject is visiting when a subpage containing a YouTube video is accessed. This information is collected by YouTube and Google and assigned to the respective YouTube account of the data subject.

YouTube and Google always receive information via the YouTube videos that the data subject has visited our website if the data subject is logged in to YouTube at the same time as accessing our website; this takes place regardless of whether the YouTube video was clicked on or not. If the data subject does not want this information to be transmitted to YouTube and Google, they can prevent the transmission by logging out of their YouTube account before accessing our website.

The data protection provisions published by YouTube, which can be accessed at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/, provide information about the collection, processing and use of personal data by YouTube and Google.

Request by email, telephone or fax

If you contact us by email, telephone or fax, we will store and process your request, including all resulting personal data (name, request) for the purpose of processing your request. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your request is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) if this has been requested.

The data you send to us via contact requests will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

Processing of data (customer and contract data)

We collect, process and use personal data only insofar as it is necessary for the establishment, content or amendment of the legal relationship (inventory data). This is done on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures. We collect, process and use personal data about the use of this website (usage data) only insofar as this is necessary to enable or charge the user for the use of the service.

The customer data collected will be deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Handling applicant data

We offer you the opportunity to apply for a position with us (e.g. by email, post or online application form). The following provides information about the scope, purpose and use of your personal data collected during the application process. We undertake to collect, process and use your data in accordance with applicable data protection law and all other statutory provisions and to treat your data as strictly confidential.

Scope and purpose of data collection

When you send us an application, we process your related personal data (e.g. contact and communication data, application documents, notes taken during interviews, etc.) to the extent necessary to reach a decision on the establishment of an employment relationship. The legal basis for this is Section 26 German Federal Data Protection Act (initiation of an employment relationship), Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (general contract initiation) and – if you have given your consent – Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Consent can be revoked at any time. Your personal data will only be disclosed within our company to those persons who are involved in processing your application.

If the application is successful, the data submitted by you will be stored in our data processing systems on the basis of Section 26 German Federal Data Protection Act and Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for the purpose of administering the employment relationship.

Retention period of the data

If we are unable to offer you a job, you reject a job offer or withdraw your application, we reserve the right to retain the data you have submitted on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) for up to 6 months from the end of the application process (rejection or withdrawal of the application). The data will then be deleted and the physical application documents destroyed. The retention serves in particular as evidence in the event of a legal dispute. If it is apparent that the data will be required after the 6-month period has expired (e.g. due to an impending or pending legal dispute), the data will only be deleted when the purpose for further storage no longer applies.

Longer storage may also take place if you have given your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) or if statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

Inclusion in the applicant pool

If we are unable to offer you a job, you may be able to join our applicant pool. If you are accepted, all documents and information from your application will be transferred to the applicant pool in order to contact you in the event of suitable vacancies.

Inclusion in the applicant pool is based exclusively on your express consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Giving consent is voluntary and is not related to the current application process. The data subject can withdraw their consent at any time. In this case, the data will be irrevocably deleted from the applicant pool, provided there are no legal grounds for retention.

The data from the applicant pool will be irrevocably deleted no later than two years after consent has been given.
